I feel like I’ve had that problem for a while now- years maybe. But you have confirmed it. I did not get a notification from your post in which you edited in a tag. I just came across this and answered before I looked a the other thread. I only get notified if the tag is original to the post
I think that's just the way the software functions. If I understand the system correctly, each post is an individual item. The Xenforo software is essentially a data base, so it categorizes each post as it is generated. Once a post is generated, it can be edited, but it's not like generating a completely new item. If a tag is edited in, it does not register with the system, so no notification is generated.I feel like I’ve had that problem for a while now- years maybe.
That was my guess. It’d be nice to find a way around thatI think that's just the way the software functions. If I understand the system correctly, each post is an individual item. If I want to add a tag I write a new post. I will likely quote my earlier post in the new post. That was my guess. It’d be nice to find a way around that
