Everything about Don's work screams ART.

Love all the subtle design details, and the materials he chooses. All so well thought out!

Congrats on both knives, guaranteed they serve you well.

Everything about Don's work screams ART.

Very true, he has a background in fine arts.

With a Nod to Don, he is actually doing a small run of the Micarta handled knife and I saw the proto at blade show that had the same everything with a blue ivorite inlay which was gorgeous.

My girlfriend picked the mesquite inlay to match the mesquite/bloodwood pairer we already had - also its a homage to her home state of Tx.

Much to Don's initial hesitation (i prefer the ivorite too) the mesquite came out beautifully - its a stellar (underrated) handle material.

I like his stuff, regularly see it at the Plaza show....but I think it's very expensive for what it is.

Best Regards,
