Don is a very talented maker, by the way his last is Hanson. He makes his own Damascus and maker mostly autos and linerlocks now. The average price for a nice linerlock is about $1200. His autos are around $2100. and up. I think he makes a great knife. I hope this is helpful.

BC,

Gary is correct, Don makes an excellent knife. I buy knives from Don when I can.

As for pricing, his small auto's start at $1,500, large ones about $1,800.00. He had two this weekend at the Arkansas Show. Both were bought by an out of town dealer.

Look for them to be on his site in the next week or so. Also, note the price is substantially higher than what Don sells them for. Yes, he gets a good discount.

There are other dealers who sell these knives for way over Don's price. If you want to save some money, contact Don direct.

At $1,500 - $1,800 these knives are an excellent value!

I had a chance to handle a rather large pearl handled liner lock of his at the Arkansas show this weekend. Very high quality and commiserate pricetag. Out of my range but very nice.
