Thought you all may enjoy seeing this. My father is a collector of 3 Backspring Folders and spoke with Don Hanson in the late 90's about them. Mr. Hanson made this knife for the 1997 Midwest Knifemakers Assoc. Show in Kansas City and it won "Best Folder" for that show. According to the Hanson/Sunfish website, this may be the first of Mr. Hanson's knives to win an award. Of course he has won dozens since. Dad purchased the knife from Mr. Hanson at the show and just recently passed it on to me along with the rest of his collection. Hope you like it as much as I do.
