Don Hanson III, MS ~ Damascus Fighter

I put a full elephant sheath in dark brown and black on that beauty. The knife was really spectacular in hand.

I love Don's knives.
It would be craziness not to, his ivory and damascus are superb.
And designs.

I love the thin lugs on this guard assemblage.
Tapered full tang etched beautifully, can't wait to see it dressed.

:) Edited: Caleb, your work is wonderful as always.

I have had one of these on hand Bowie knives, extraordinary ,Close to perfection , congrats , congrats ...

The knife. The image. The sheath. All business. Serious business. Top of the heap package for some lucky collector.

Hope we see the whole package at some point.

Paul's in hand experience seems to follow a consistent pattern with Don's work.

This is the only photo I have of the sheath and the colors are dark in the photo. It is dark brown with black accent Full front Elephant and kind of plain vanilla otherwise.

And the hits just keep on coming....

Another beauty Don - I love the up-curving point, very Nasty :D

I like the fact that all of Don's fixed blades are unique....but always recognizably Hanson
