Don Juan watchband?

I have two of them. They've been around forever under an assortment of names and have recently undergone a revival of sorts. In fact I have one from WWII when they were worn by a lot of G.I.'s and were actually military issue at one time. They are very easy to mount a watch to and handy as the watch is easy to take on and off and stays put when on. I recommend them. Just make sure you get the correct size for your wrist.

Thanks, Gene. I was beginning to think no one here had 'em. How secure are they? Can the watch stay on your wrist throughout activity like running and swimming?

I've never swam with one on but I would say it might not be the greatest idea to do so. There's that gap where you push it on from the side of your wrist and water resistance could possibly work it off. Running would be no problem however. I have slept with one on many nights and it didn't come off.

My Gosh, I didn't think they made these anymore !!
I wore one from 1966 to 1981 'till I lost one of the clamps in a machine. Pulled the watch off my
arm saving me from loosing my hand.

I wore that band with several watches in all kinds
of weather and activites. From working to camping
and river rafting. Thanks for finding them again
for me. :)

As far as owning one all I can say is.......YES!!!

Once you get used to putting it on it's great:D
