Just took delivery of a Don Polzien combat tanto. It has a six inch chisel ground blade of 1/4 inch stock. The handle is cord wrap over same and a dragonfly menuki. It is razor sharp the work is very high quality and was done in a very timely fashion. (3 months) Don was very friendly and anxious to get me what I wanted in this blade. The knive is a bit heavier than I am used to for this kind of knife but it sings in the hand and should hit like a hammer. It came razor sharp. Easy to slice slivers off of the backof my thumbnail. The ambidextrous sheath is a dream to carry. He is working on a shoulder system but at my request for a shoulder harness he obtained one from Blade Rigger (which I love to use anyway!). It carries great. I am extremely happy with this blade and maker and will buy from him again.
