Here is one that has fallen into my posession and I thought I would share it. This piece is from a great maker in Canada. It is truly a work of art. He does really neat carving work that is actually an extention of the filework.

Hope you all like it.

Great! That fluting on the blade is outstanding and I like the shaping that was done to the bolster. Nice thin snakewood handle. I really like this one.

I know I should probably know this, but who is the maker?

Donald's work has really caught my eye. WHAT A PIECE!!!! Good find, Bob! Now, is this a folder? Wow!

Now you're going to tempt us without a shot from the top..?????

Thanks!

I also forgot to mention. That little gold circle that you sell is a little Bell denoting Bell Custom Knives.

Really neat and tiny. I needed 4x to see it. But, my eyes aren't that great anyway.

hey bob,

Nice piece. I should add that Don is a very nice guy...I had the pleasure of having dinner with him, Peter Wile, and Kirby Lambert at the last CKG show...Don was a real gentleman (he even went to pick up the car so we wouldn't get wet in the rain)...I'm sorry that I only took one pic of his table...I will rectify that at the next show in October.

Here's the old pic for you Donald Bell fans...

Ok, I am wondering if the name of the maker was always in the header for this thread. If so, I feel like an idiot for missing it.

That's ok.. Sometimes I can't even remember my own phone number...

I call that brain fladulation (excuse the spelling - you see???)

On subject, Donald is truly a class act.
