You know Im reading a few threads and I saw several comments on how great it is to deal with aldo and how good his steel is. Now im a huge aldo fan and told myself Im only using him from now on but it hit me. What would we do if aldo retired :eek: So I say we start now!!! A fund to genetically clone aldo for knifemakers everywhere and future generations of knifemakers!

All kidding aside its nice to have someone who can really cater to our needs and understands exactly what we want then deliver at great prices with super great services top notch materials!

The mold was broken after Uncle Aldo came out.
 
Aldo is a great guy and if you got some 'shine for him the steel comes away a little easier. Can't wait for Tannehill to get more from him.
 
Just so you don't worry for the future I want you all to know I am training a small army of replacements : )

There is no such thing as a "replacement" for Aldo, only imitations. His name is praised in public and whispered among friends. Thanks for all you do, man. I believe I speak for an awful lot of makers when I wish you continued success, health and happiness! :)
 
If you're going to clone him, make the next one a little closer to the west coast...

Hey Aldo, where's my steel?!?! I've been telling people that your stuff hauls ass, and here I am waiting since last week...is UPS mad at you (or at me)?:)
