I have been lurking in the background, getting tips from you guys and finally made the jump to posting. My early knives were more just pretty pieces of metal that looked like knives. This is my second full blown, completed knife. I have a few others that are "in the process". My photography skills are still in the works, so my apologies. This is a little skinner that I'm donating to a racer benefit auction to raise money for racers at a local track, who become sick or injured or just fallen on hard times.
It's made of AST-34, it's a little harder than I like, it tested at 60+. The blade is about 2.5 ". That's burl oak and brass with a little herring bone inlay in the handle. The pins were just an experiment to see what would fit together. The square insert is black, it's stuffed in a red epoxied round tube. I'm still figuring this stuff out.
