Is there anyway to get a link for donating money to the kami fund? I can usually find a link for donation but I can not locate one on this forum for the life of me. Please excuse me if its right in front of my face lol. I would love to throw some cash when I can and it would be easy just to hit a link that sends me to a payment site.... just thought
 
Everything goes through Auntie. Just use her paypal address and put a note what it is so she don't get confused and send you a knife, well that would be a good thing but Auntie is super busy so we gotta try to make it as stressless as possible.
 
Ok.... what's her paypal address? I guess that is what I am asking because it isn't listed on the website. The only think listed is her AOL email...
 
My bad. petros nailed it. That address is in her signature on every post. I can never remember it. I have it saved in my PayPal thingy account. I meant to mention that but sometimes I'm pretty pathetic at getting idea's from my head to my fingers and into cyber space.
 
I need to give my boss her email address! Direct deposit would be a heck of a lot easier. Just skip the bank. They dont do anything for me anyway:D
 
Well I just tried to use the paypal link and I guess my account is locked. I haven't used paypal in years because I don't like their practices or monopoly. I wish there was another way to send money besides by mail (rather put it on a credit card).

Could you put a link on your web store for donations?

I loved the fact that you don't require paypal to purchase a kukris on HI's web store... Maybe a link in the "specials items" or maybe a whole "new tab" for donations to the kami fund. The web store is already set up to take regular credit cards.

I hate to make things difficult but I do want to contribute to the kami medical fund...or any fund that Auntie sees fit to give the money to. A credit card donation is easier, especially if someone would like to donate a larger some of money.

I trust Auntie's decisions and have complete faith that she knows the best way to appropriate the funds. Thanks...
 
Maybe auntie can take a credit card over the phone? I don't know.

I'm not fond of PayPals practices either but there are so many companies with similar ideology you can't avoid them all and they are convenient.
 
K... I will just mail her a money order. I don't want to bother her, she seems like she has a lot on her plate. I guess a money order with a little note should be sufficient. Thanks Bawanna...
 
Great idea Gurkha Berserka! I think that is a great way to do it. In the long range perhaps the suggestion of adding a Kami Donation item on the website store could be added. But in the short term I think your solution is a great way to handle it while Auntie is so busy.
 
I ended up biting the bullet and getting a paypal account even though I despise there practices. I guess in todays day and age a paypal account is pretty much standard thing. I just didn't like the whole ebay/paypal monopoly thing...

I ended up winning a DOTD yesterday and I included a donation and told Auntie to use it as she sees fit. Thanks for all the ideas
