Done with the Black out EEK! Just got this back from Jeff Forbush. All the tubing is trimmed, SS bolts are flush and this bad boy is ready for sheath and sharpen. Going to do Black Leather for one mean combo. Not looking forward to sharpening this much of a recurve though . If you can't see the Begg influence- then you are blind! I can always count on Todd to give me honest feedback that pushes me to the next level.
Blade 52100- differentially heated by me in a salt pot. (Caffrey/Fowler style)
Thickness- .200
Width- a touch over two inches at the most from the edge to the spine.
Length- 7" blade from tip to choil in a straight line
Overall- 12 7/8"
Weight- 1# 2 3/8 oz. Balance if just in front of the guard.
Would love to keep this..... but bills are due and nothing is selling so I may just have to put this up for sale. I really want to keep this one though. Any thoughts? Dan
