Well,
I've been reading and looking and thinking, and thinking and reading and looking about these Sebenzas for several years now. I finally took the plunge and ordered a small regular.
I work in a warehouse, camp, fish, rock hound. There's work for it to be done. I've been EDCing small fixed blades for the last couple of years. But,I do miss a folder.
I've got Swamp Rats,Busses, and J. Neilsons for the heavy stuff. I expect this one to compliment them. As well as be more sheeple friendly. We'll see.

Congrats! Let us know what you think of it when you get it in your hands. There's no hope for you now. If you carried several FB's you will find yourself with multiple Sebs now.

I think you made a great choice. I've EDC'd a small regular for more than 3 years. It's a real workhorse.

Here it is with some of the other stuff I carry:

And again with a couple of Bark Rivers I sometimes carry with it:

Thanks,
I'll try and get pics up when I get it.

(pkdmslf) I hear what you're saying. I always thought I would go for the large. If I like this small,I guess I am a goner> LOL

One thing I always liked about the Sebenza pattern is that it's available in three sizes - so right there you have a reason to get at least three of them.

The Small is a super knife. As O/P suggests, it compliments heavier stuff very well. It's small enough to be innocuous, and yet stout enough for relatively heavy tasks. You could also thin one out, like Krein-thin. That gets us up to four.

Then you've got to have at least one tanto blade. That's five, and we aren't even into inlays yet. :)

Nice Parker 51 and Vac. What vintage is the vac?

The 51 is 1948:

The Vac is 1936:

Here are few more:

And a more contemporary Parker Duofold Centennial:

Congratulations on a fine choice. The small Sebbie is, IMHO, the best EDC folder; small enough to carry easily yet big enough to do what needs to be done.

I just picked up a small classic with micarta inlays at the Canadian Knifemakers Guild show and I absolutely love it! I put all of my other folders in their original boxes and put them away. I'm sure you're going to like yours too!
