Done Right Firestarters

I just want to put in a plug for some of the handiest and foolproof firestarters I have ever come across. They are the ones produced by DoneRight Manuf. http://gotfire.com/firestarters599.html The owners of this company are very down-to-earth and their prices are great. I have one of their "Sparky" fire starters on each of my keychains and I use one for my zipper-pull on my USMC issue Gore-tex parka. I have a Military Match II in the handle of my Chris Reeve Project II, and one of their "big flints" in the pocket of my hunting jacket. I guess you could say that I have faith in their products

I just wanted to spread the word a little about just how useful these practical and convenient fire starters are.

Thanks for mentioning my name, yep we still honour this principle "payment to be send after receiving the goods" and up until now only one sick soul hasn't honoured our principle.

I personally have the small magnesium bar with flint glued in fitted in the small real leather sheath with a piece of hacksaw blade.
I think they call say it can double as a zipper pull.
I got it from Marion D. Poff and I carry it every day, but I also carry the smaller Scout model from Light-My-Fire with me and use that more then the Magnesium+ferrocium zipperpull setup from DoneRight.

Still i like the Swedish Firesteels also, even a little better because of the plastic thumbpiece which keeps my thumb+finger from freezing when I try to start a fire when it's below zero and I like the metal scraper they include with either the Large Military Firesteel and smaller Scout model.

By the way our scout group just got bigger because we got a bunch of cubs/scouts/explorers from a neighbouring Scout group that had to stop because of financial problems, so we're getting a bunch of firesteels again shortly with extra's (Scout + Large Military) so if you like some drop us an email.

The firesteel from Bagheera is also very good. Nice design with the plastic thumb piece. Mine also came with a piece of maya wood.

I would definately get one from him if you are in need of sparks (or Glowrings)!
