Like all of us on the forum I love me some knifes. Had to sell some (before I started trollin' these boards) a while back because of moving around. Finally bought a house with plenty of trees and the like to work on. Rather than asking which blade to buy I had to take all of the advice here and winded up ordering a Bk9, Bk2 and Bk3 at the same time! They all arrive Friday and I can't flippin wait!! I'll post some pics when I duck out of work early to play around with them.

I'm sure these will spark the need/want (same thing right?) for the Bk7 but even though everyone says the Bk9 is almost as good or better than the Bk1 I really wish I could get my hands on one without breaking the bank (even more than I already have).

For anyone with the Brute, am I really missing out here?

Pics to come....:D

Congrats! And welcome. Becker madness has taken us all at one point. I look forward to the pics. Moose

Ok after moving and having my baby girl (just yesterday) I wanted to throw up the pics not sure if i can do it from an ipad....but I have to admit.....my growing passion for these knifes that in the meantime I bought a necker....love it. Ill post more pics in the appropriate thread (sorry Bladite)....

Glad to see Ethan is back posting.

I saw a Brute on ebay the other day for 275. Seemed like a lot....but not sure if I can discuss on this thread (again with the sorry) will read rules and FAQ... Glad to be part of the pack, just paid for my gold membership!

you can totally post pics from an iPad. it's probably just a learning curve on cut and paste and the right tools.

the picture you attempted to post though, no http://..../etc/ info...

the picture thread is useful, but not required.

there's discussing value as in "i want to sell this, what's a good price" and "lol, that seems high". stuff sells for what it sells for. the value hungry will find good deals and the must have now hungry will pay what they pay. so it goes. the "rule" is to prevent "say, i have this item, and i want to sell it, and i need buyers and/or best-price-evah" and bypassing BF's rules on being Gold and all that.

also, it keeps y'all safer from crooks who have few to no posts of worth and just getting you to paypal them and they are gone. they have no rep, no tracking, no nothing. if they're registered, and they steal, there's at least a potential trail. think scam when you see these sly offers.

i just got my bk14 the other day and ive fallen completely in love with it.i guess it loves me too because it gave me a nasty love bite when i was making fuzzy sticks with it yesterday.i wish i couldve gotten pics of it,its a gnarly lookin gash on my left index finger.almost went to the bone.its ok,ive forgiven her :)

I've had the same problem with Beckers. I have had a BK11 for a long time. I had bought a Rat Izula when they first came out. I loved the handle size for a necker. Then the BK14finaly came in. I had it in my hands working in the garden and yard. When I was done I just had to order another, you know, just in case. My dad walked away with my backup BK11 so I am not showing him my BK14 or let him know I have a second. I can't keep up his habit, he is always checking out my box-o-backups for something new. The second BK14 is going in my BOB.

what you need is a special second box of backups. with a lock :)

and visit him and taken back what he's put in his backup box ;) heh.

i knew a girl in college, took a bunch of her dad's sweaters, and hats, because she liked them, but her dad liked them more. he drove 5 hours one way, waited until she was in class, and grabbed the whole lot, and didn't say a word about it to anyone for months :) how he must have cackled :> she was of course, alarmed they were gone, but had NO IDEA. heh.

with my dad, i made a deal. when he got tired of a knife, i'd get it back, and he could try out something else.

I might try the trade it in thing but they are all mine, mine, mine, mine, my precious! Besides he started it all with my first knife for my 7th birthday. I had my bedroom door off the hinges so fast. I lost my knife privilages for a whole week.
