Check it out,Got Donna at the forge for a spoofed shoot and she ended up helping me forge out a Blade for real.I know she isn't dressed safely this time,but she said she would next time,Yes she said next time.She wants to learn how to make a knife.That is so cool she will be welcomed in the shop any time she wants.

By the way ..She thinks all the pictures turned out ugly..I think she just like the compliments she gets when she says that ;) :D I don't know but I think she looks really good,but she doesn't listen to me anyway..

I also forgot to mention that during the photo shoot with the Rebel flag bikini Donna let the Bowie slip and really sliced her finger open,First time in all the years of modeling with my knives,but she just kept on taking the pictures and said she really bled for you guys on this one.

Nice pixs here & on your site, Bruce! It's nice to see Donna's arms haven't gotten as well developed as your's, yet! :D Now that Donna is taking up forging, are you going to let her work on my knives? ;) And by the way...congratulations on passing your performance testing! (as if there was any doubt!)

the knives aren't bad either!! Now that's about enough of female exploitation for bladesmithing's sake!! Now I want in on this deal too: LETS DO A CALENDER!!!!!! communially of course! Donna's got the month of July hands down with her stars'n stripes getup and I guess we'll have to let her have the month the South surrendered; April 9th of 65... so she's got April... So what the hell do us other guys got?? I'm off to lure Traci out to the forge as we speak. She looks great in Board Shorts..... Indian George: you gotta have pics man..... How'bout you's others???????? ;)


Traci's birthday is in Nov. so I'm laying claim to that one..... Anyone got software to put this thing together??
And on another note; so's not to appear the proverbial sexist: were there any submissions by "lady" bladesmiths, (we've several that have attained MS status...) by all means, shoo hubby/boyfriend out'ta the forge for a photo shoot. We aim to please! (all!!) .

Now: who to jugde the entrants..... Hmmmm????????? forum vote?? over several days??

Oh, yeah, Bruce, you're gonna get about [] that much work done in the shop, and your focus is gonna last about 5 seconds. Donna's gonna lean over to see what you're teaching, your eyes will refocus, and thumb go "owwie" when it gets hammered. ;) I don't care how much she bundles on clothing, knives are NOT going to be your focus. :D

Nonetheless, Donna, have fun! Always nice looking at Bruce's knives.

Very Nice photos Donna. I am all for equal opertunity and pleased to see Bruce is letting you have a go on the avil. But if you take pics of him please , let him have the army pants and top sorry Bruce you in a bikini I don't want to get that mental image.

On a serious note I help as the lacky at a knife making course run twice a year. We had a lady there you know I was not going to ask age 40-50 she came along and forged up 3 blades in a morning and finished the knife the next day. She called in at another course and showed us that she had finished all three. It is a biginners course not fine art collectable.

Should be more of it.

Calenders are cool Ideas,The magazines don't put in pictures like these anymore--Something about exploitation of woman or something like that--I do have the bottom picture made into a print for my shirts,I may have to try and get some made up before next Blade show :D :D

Donna in the forge wouldn't be a distraction as she does come out and visit me allot more now than she used to and I can still get work done,Actually I would get more work done as she would be there instead of me staying in the house to spend time with her :D

Actually, I understand completely, Bruce, and was joshing because she obviously presents a very nice distraction if one so chooses! :D

Nancy almost always hangs out in the little outdoor smithy when I'm working out there, and I have to agree, it's a fine thing. :) A little 100 pounder, she's been known to swing a 12 pound sledge for 4 hours making damascus.
 
Dayum! :eek: You say there's knives in some of those pictures? Must have missed them somehow... :rolleyes: Better have another look. ;)

Yep I can guarentee that there are knives in those pictures,Except the forging ones and there is a hot one in that :D :D
