Hey guys, Here is a new design we are almost done working on. We are really happy with how she is coming out. I'm working on her sheath today, then she gets her edge bevel, wax, new pictures and should be headed to the marketplace later today.

Here are some specs:
5/32" 1095
Differentially Heat Treated
Sabre Ground, Clip Point.
Hand Rubbed, Acid Etched Finish.
The scales are 3/32 black G-10 and Brown Canvas Micarta on top. Scales are hand sanded to 3400 grit and buffed.
(2) 3/16 S.S. pins and (1) 1/4 S.S. tube
Blade Length Tip To Plunge: 7 3/4"
Overall Length: 13 1/8"

enough talk, here are the pics :D

I have read all of your knife posts and i love the curve of them. I can imagine if they are women, all of them are beatiful. Are the have twins?

Thank you very much for the compliments, I'm not sure exactly what your question is...

we have been asked many times to make twins of our knives, we gladly do, but we hold the rule that there must be something different, even if its just the name.

I Hope that answered it for you.

Thanks for the compliments Bigsize!

The most common question we get is: “What’s up with the naming your knives after women?”

This evolved spontaneously as we struggled to find a way to express how we felt about our knives
as unique individuals. Our solution was to name them and never give the same knife the same
name. While working on a recurve blade and an equally curvaceous handle, the comparison to women
naturally came up and we found more ways to compare them to a good woman…sharp, curvy and
always at your side…so it’s a very fun and light-hearted aspect of Diamond J and everyone seems to enjoy
the banter and play on words the analogy inspires!

Rest assured, we will never give two knives of the same design, size, scales, pins the same name. We
require at least one key aspect to be different for a name to be reused.

One day, you may see five different Diamond J "Betty's", but each and every Betty will be different --
just like in real life, no two Betty’s are ever the same!

We also encourage our customers to choose the name of the knife they custom order from us. You may also, choose to not have the name inscribed on the sheath, the choice is yours.

This should explain even a little better :D

Thanks again!

Dan

Thanks Greg, I would bet it will take at least a few years before I have to start scrounging for some more good names :) When we pick their names, we generally lean toward the early pin up girl names and the like.
