Finally got around to taking a pic or two of this.
Tomorrow this should be on its way to Bruce Evans and more importantly, Donna.

i havent ever been able to finish a mini blade from start to finish... so it was kind of a fun lil thing to make.
forging it was really hilarious too.
the amount of times i was distracted enough that i reached for my great big forging hammer to hit it.
the blade is made from one piece of 5160, with a silver bezel for the pommel and a garnet set in the very end.
the sheath is some scrap mokume, that i had from a while back, with some silver decorations.
the blade pops in and out with a nice click and it seems to stay nice and secure.
there is a hook on the end of the sheath, which i believe is big enough to hook onto Donnas bellybutton ring and kind of dangle down.
and its really lightweight to make sure there is no pain involved.
what do you guys think?

oh .. and sharpening this thing was a bigger pain than i would have ever thought.
