A while back my PDA locked up.

It is a Handspring Visor Deluxe, and has served me well.

Was freakin about losing al lthe numebrs and info in it.

Got it unlocked.

Didn't sync it, figured I was fine.

Picked it up yesterday, dead.

Changed batteries, came on.

EVERYTHING IS GONE!!!!!!

8 years of info......:barf: :barf: :barf:

How stupid....:grumpy:

Arrrrggghhh!!!

Seriously, that sucks!

Synching your PDA is a good thing. In addition to preventing major loss of data, it also allows you to use your computer as an easier to read (via large monitor), easier to key in (full sized keyboard), big brother version of your pocket sized PDA.

that sucks but you're a better man than me of the thing isn't broken on top of the data loss, thatmguy! I'm dangerous around electronics. I've got a box of keyboards in storage because I used to destroy them on a weekly basis or whenever my pc started acting up.

hold on. does it have onboard memory, sd card, or what? you may be able to recover some (most likely not all) of your info with recovery software. I know that one called RescueDisk works with flash memory and there are surely many others.

Worth a shot!
