Ryan's thread about people helping made me think about this. Thanks by the way Ryan for such a positive thread. (I am still writing my reply to the thread by the way)

When you click on people's name you can add them as contacts and at the same time, send a friends request. It's just a small way to let people know that you appreciate their help, feedback or simply their presence and camaraderie. Ok I know, I'm cheesy :o...but proud of it. ;)

A good way I think to usher in another great year on Bladeforums!
 
Good Point Patrice! I use the contact and Friend feature. It is also an easy way to quickly check on your peers work and latest posts. BladeForums is what we make it, I am going to make a commitment to be more positive and ignore the poo flinging monkey's in 2012!

I just sent a friend request to everyone who responded to this thread, except Rick, becuase he's mean. :( ;)
 
Rick isn't mean, he's just a tease. You hafta sweet-talk him a little, but it's probably worth it ;)
 
fine. I will try. However, I am blaming you if I become suicidal from rejection when he refuses it.

It's also a handy way to find those special old threads and photos and such again too, not just the new stuff.
 
That is a good point, and for me very underused, however I'm new here and don't want to be too presumptuous.
 
Ohhhhhhhh, boy... I can't wait to inform my folks that I have friends, now. They've been telling me it'll never happen... in yo face, dad!
 
So what, I'm not allowed to be a hermit? That was the whole draw to being a blade smith:) fine ill befriend every one and we'll see how yall like that!!!
