Lmao I definitely don't have that kind of patience.Well, if you handle it a lot the handle does lose a little of the chalky feeling after awhile. It depends on your patience level.
I honestly will get the 945-1, man. I'm just a fan of the smaller size for EDC.Get the 940-1, much smoother
I actually took to rubbing the hell out of it with an old pair of jeans, and now it's PERFECT. Just grippy enough to keep from flying out of my hand, but smooth enough to come out of the pocket easily. That stuff wears off after a good 2 weeks of carry and use. My 945 (only a month old give or take) is no longer chalky. It's great now. Carry. Use. Fondle.
Lol I ordered a knockoff 940 so I could see if I like it before buying a real one (having never handled one before). The knockoff is identical in size and shape to the original and I have to say I was surprised at how small it is. Can't believe they make a mini version of it.I honestly will get the 945-1, man. Before it was a hair too big for suit carry, but now it's absolutely perfect. Especially if you pair it with a deep-carry clip.Lol I ordered a knockoff 940 so I could see if I like it before buying a real one (having never handled one before). Clearly you don't wear a suit for work. A regular size knife like that carried in your pants prints to the point where you may as well hang a flashing neon sign on your neck that reads, "HEY LOOK AT ME I HAVE A KNIFE!!!".Man I can't believe anyone thinking a "regular" sized 940 is too big for EDC. A mini 945 must be like that micro-mini-flip cell phone on Zoolander.
This works well on G10, too. Makes sense that it works on factory-fresh hard anodization. Sounds like you found a good shortcut for simulating a couple weeks of pocket wear.I actually took to rubbing the hell out of it with an old pair of jeans, and now it's PERFECT. Ha ha point taken. Yeah actually I saw a 945 at the store today and it wasn't too terribly small.Clearly you don't wear a suit for work. Exactly. It's smaller, but it still cuts very well. Plus, it's customizable in a way the 940 isn't.Ha ha point taken. Yeah actually I saw a 945 at the store today and it wasn't too terribly small.
