I don't quite get the Busse web site.
If you go to BusseCompanyStore.com you will read: Only knives that are currently in stock are listed on the Order Here page. You go to that page and no knives are there for purchase.
If you go to BusseCombat.com it shows that 4 different knives are available for purchase.
Are the 2 web sites different? Is one owned by Busse and the other owned by someone that buys all the stock and then re-sells them?
I've been wanting a Busse for quite some time now, but this little fact has always scared me away. I just don't want to order from some place that may not be a official source and get scammed.

Are the 2 web sites different? Yes. Is one owned by Busse and the other owned by someone that buys all the stock and then re-sells them? Yes. Idahoskunk runs the Busse Company Store. He takes the last of the current model runs and sells them. He also gets special runs now and then (one is coming up very soon) and also stocks other items like shirts, dog tags, shot glasses, sheaths. This is all done on his nickle. It's a wooden nickle, but he manages to pull it off somehow. I think it is his liberal use of scotch. ;) :D :p

Added info above in red.

It can be confusing at first. I remember how long it took me to figure out where to get them, and how production and releases are handled.

The great part about beginning now, is that there is more Infi, offered more frequently than you would ever have imagined if you had been around a while ago.

The old time Hogs, particularly, could tell stories about long droughts, and periods where it seemed like forever between releases of very very low numbers.

As implied above, the Busse Company Store is the official distributor for Busse Combat of production overruns and the occasional Company Store only release. Skunk runs the store and does not always get everything that Jerry's gang at Busse Combat produces. The big difference between the two is that while you order from Busse Combat for near future manufacture and delivery with your selected options (when said options are available), you purchase an already produced knife from the Company Store ready for immediate delivery.
