Right now I am sitting here practicing flicking it open. It sure is harder to do without the Axis lock, but I am getting better. I can usually flick it open, and I am getting good enough to flick it closed. :D

I am glad that I now have a smaller knife for EDC, to complement a bigger knife. I think I will keep my Benchmite in my left breast pocket on my jacket; while I have one of my larger folders clipped to my right pants pocket.

Once again, I really love this knife. I really recommend this knife to anyone who wants a real small knife to complement a larger one.

I may not get a Benchmite, but it is a goodlooking little knife. I like to have one that size around -- BM Big Spender, Spydie SS, CRK Mnandi. They fit in a shirt pocket and if that's all the blade you need to do a job, why chop away with a bigger knife?

One guy on the BM forum said that he cut up a deer that he hunted with his Benchmite :D

He hunted a deer with a Benchmite?

Wow, that's impressive.

He must be real fast.;)

Absolutely great little knife. Always in the drawer at work. Opens mail, packages, skin small rino, cut up food, etc.

Actuall, only used to skin one small rino, and did have to sharpen twice.

 :D
