So I was cruising around Ebay and saw this:

The thing that kind of makes me mad is the joker who is selling this just put Busse and SR in his title to draw attention to a blade that he apparently does not think will get enough attention just based on it's own brand name. What a :jerkit: :jerkit: :jerkit: :jerkit: :jerkit:

A common practice. It's called Keyword Spamming. You can always "Report This Item" and they get yanked.

I saw that too. All Busse has to do is register a complaint with eBay and eBay will make him change it (or kill the auction). He is using the Busse brand to sell his non-Busse wares. eBay will take him to task for that for certain.

That one is legit. Its in reference to "Big Daddy" Don Garlits designed "Swamp Rat" dragsters that he help design and started racing over 40 years ago.

IIRC, all Don Garlits designed dragsters were nicknamed "Swamp Rats".

This item is listed under "diecast toys" not "collectable knives and swords, etc".

Here is a legitimate violation guys.

From the Busse perspective these infringements bode well: They are evidence that the Busse/SRKW brands hold great value, enough so that others need to infringe upon the Busse/SRKW brands to promote their non Busse/SRKW offerings. Busse may want to allow these violations as a form of "free marketing" and brand value enhancement...or Busse may want to sQuash such violations to protect their brand. I dunno.

In any event, perhaps it is best for us buyers of Busse/SRKW's products to ignore these brand infringements because such infringements direct some eBay shoppers attention away from the true Busse/SRKW branded blades that we wish to aQuire. If such eBay shoppers buy these non Busse/SRKW blades then there are more for us to purchase. There is already too much competition for the blades we desire...perhaps such brand infringement will "lessen the market pressure" a tad.
