Is there any other arena where you can talk to a maker at a show, place an order for something he/she has not done before, seal it with a hand shake and have the knife come to fruition in time? I truly enjoy that type of trust between two people. No deposit, no phone calls, just trust on both of our parts.

Don't have it yet, but I there is no doubt I will be more than a happy owner of a Joe Kious serpentine Doctor knife with a capped end bolster.
