I have been regretting passing up the larger SAR's when they were offered, in particular the SAR-6. I have always been a fan of this blade length.
I was digging through the knife closet today looking for a BIBB that a local guy was interested in buying, unwrapping numerous packages. Never did find the BIBB, but suddenly there it was - a satin/black canvas SAR-6 LE. I swear I don't remember ever buying this thing.

Either senility is setting in or the knife fairy has been visiting. Either way, it's fun to go thru the closet and find knives you didn't remember you had.
 
What a pleasant surprise indeed! You must've traded the BIBB for the SAR-6 LE at some point.
 
Think thats an SE, not an LE. Amazing knife none the less. That's quite the find. Maybe you should look around the house some more to see what else you might have forgotten about. :)
 
I think you might have forgotten all the INFI you are hiding for me too. You can just send that on to........;):D
