Don't you wish the handle scales from ESEE came in different colors?

Do you think it would be a good idea for ESEE to offer their handle scales in different colors other than the usual ones; especially if they offered them as an accesory item (then it would would be a more plausible idea)? Why or why not?

Update: I just checked out the scales on TKC and it seems as if they are only offered for the 4s. What's up with that?

I like what they come with...they darken nicely with use across the board.

but...if you hang here long...
you will see members dying handles (and telling you how)
members with custom colored handles (and who they got them from)
and even those that change the blade colors (and how to get them)

oh yeah....the only danger? expect a lighter wallet from extended use of this sub forum. :)

The T-K-C Handle Kits are really nice.
 
I really like the G10 scales. I'd like a similar set for my ESEE-3. Or the whole 'create-your-own' concept would also be excellent. I'm afraid I could see myself with more ESEEE-3s if you can do the custom selection thing.

We are doing three more colors for the 4 that should be available the end of next week or the following week. They are: Black, Ranger Green & Green & Black. I'm also experimenting with 2 other colors & some ideas to "spif" things up a bit. We'll see what happens.
 
i'm kind of glad they don't offer different options. i'm guessin it keep the cost down (tooling, material on hand, etc) and makes room for custom makers to offer products. custom handle scales for a popular knife (from a Co. that doesn't offer handle options) is a good idea for small business, which we need more of.

plus i really like the look of the standard green micarta they come with. i just got my "5", today, and i dig the scales.
 
each set of scales is fitted perfectly to it's blade. I wouldn't want any other colours; if I wanted a pretty knife to give a beating i'd buy a bark river.
