Don't you wish ZT made a higher end Cryo?

Wouldn't this be great? A higher end Cryo with bearings a high end steel like s35vn, m390, or 20cv and titanium scales (my favorite) or a option with g10.

I love the design. The blade shape is perfect. I think it would be a huge hit don't know why they haven't put one out but oh well I can always hope

Well from what I've seen the cryo sucks, since it's a design people seem to like I think it might be a good idea for a good version of it to be made.

Btw I say it sucks because my uncle and 2 cousins all got cryo's for Christmas a few years ago and they all fell apart on them.

My complaints of the Cryo II would be AO, I just have a general complaint about AO as a whole, and and weight beyond that the overall design and feel in hand were good some some general quality improvements and switch from AO to manual and it would be a solid knife for the ZT lineup.

Never had a Cryo; but two Cryo 2s passed through my hands... and both were utter crap. The first was immediately returned to the dealer, and the second was used as a practice knife until I threw it away.
Would I want to see a ZT version? No. I wouldn't give it a second look. (Don't need to - I have the 0550; which is not as small, not a/o, and not a flipper...in other words, it lacks the basic faults of the Cryo).

The 0550 does look like a larger thicker Cryo with a similar blade shape might look in to getting one but the size of the Cryo and blade shape is what I really like about it

Just give me a Cryo w/ better steel and a Ti body. I have a ZT0566 in M390, close but larger than the Cryo in all aspects.

The 0566 is literally the upgrade version of the Cryo, and you own a 0566...? I think what you meant to say is, you wish they would make a 0566 with bearings & a titanium framelock (many posts have been made about this).

They're similar but not enough to be the same thing

I'm actually after a Cryo with better materials, the size jump from the Cryo to the 0566 should speak for itself.

So, would you prefer I said Kershaw Cryo 2? As they're the same size? I've owned all 3 knives and I can attest to how similar they are. So is your issue with the size of the knife?

OP posted the question, I agreed. Give me a Cryo(not Cryo 2) in its current size(not the size of the Cryo 2 or the ZT0566) with better materials. I have no issues with its size, I was simply disagreeing with your statement saying the ZT0566 is literally the upgraded version of the Cryo(original Cryo since you did not specify Cryo 2).

The only way I could be interested in a version of the Cryo was if it was not assisted and it didn't have slick metal scales on both sides! The G10 Cryo at least addressed one of those issues. AO is still enough to kill it for me, though.

A few I would definitely buy:

(Sorry giant pictures D: )
The Decimus would be a nice 0392 LE follow up, the Deadline is a very nice design that deserves an upgrade, the Fatback is a really good knife in itself (it have one) and I think they could use a Liner Lock Flipper with Full Carbon Handles to sort of do a follow up to the 0909 with an In house Design and lastly the 10K would be a good 620/630 new Emerson Collab. All with 3.4 - 3.7ish blade lengths.

not really. the cryo is small. never cared for it.

the hinderer design kershaw folding dagger design would have been great but too small. needs to be 3.5" + blade at least.
