With all the flashlights going to led's has anyone used the Dorcy pocket sized ones from Walmart?

At 5.99 it seems like a great buy and uses common AAA bateries you can get anyplace.

Highly recommend that flashlight. I use mine all the time, and still have changed the battery since I got it. Picked up one for the wife to keep in her purse along with her Swiss Army knife.

Get one! (or a dozen) :D

Yeah, those lights are pretty sweet. They've survived my torture test, and although they're not pretty anymore they're still doing well..

Yes, the little AA Dorcy's are one of the best buys in the flashlight world!
I have bought WELL over $120.00 of them as gifts, and everyone loves them... The othe big value ine the flashlight world is the little keychain lights from www.countycomm.com.

Look at them HERE.

They are cheaper than the batteries that they come with!

I too have a Dorcy 1AA, and I'm very fond of it. It's not extremely bright, but it only requires a single alkaline battery and the battery lasts a long time. I've had my 1AA almost a year and I'm still using the battery that it came with.

If the push button tailswitch worked reliably these would be a total bargain. Unfortunately, two or three of the five or six I own have stopped working with alot of use.
I still think that they are a good deal for the price.

I'm thinking of getting a similar light from a place called Advancedmart, I'm hoping it will be a little more robust.Patrick

I just bought one of these Dorcy LEDs from Wal-Mart last week and for approximately $6 it is a great deal.
