I picked up this Doris Yazzie Uncle Henry Schrade folder in Virginia City several years ago. I was trying to research the type of turquoise she used that is matrix free. Other than the gold specks, the turquoise is a solid color. I would like to send Doris a note to ask her about it but I can’t find a Facebook page or website for her. The knife is stamped DY-Navajo but you can’t see it in the picture. Any insight on the turquoise or Doris is very much appreciated.
