Hi good people,
My latest,straight off the bench,
Specs:
"Dorsal"
Open length 210mm (10 1/4"), Closed 140mm (5 1/2")
Aldo's W2 high carbon steel blade with hamon
14260 spring steel lockbar and (integral) spring
runs on bronze bushes
Stainless steel body,
Bronze and crystal resin cast Abalone inlays
As always, it's 100% handmade ,true one of a kind, sole author yours truly,

Very nice action!
I particularly like the way the overall shape, plus the inlay, lengthens the apparent blade/handle ratio !
Many times lock backs lack this look - yours almost looks like a sleek fixed blade with a blade longer than handle :thumbsup::thumbsup:

that inlay looks very close to real abalone too.
 
that is something to be proud of. I am not personally in for the bold colors on the scales, but I recognize the craftsmanship needed to make the knife. Everything else about it is just perfect. I would simply (if I could afford to order/ask for one) request different colors on the scales. Not a criticism. I love the knife, and I respect the work that went into making it. Great skills.
 
The buyer wanted a semi-horizontal,cross draw style sheath for it as well,one that's not too bulky,so this is what I came up with,simple but effective me thinks,figured I'd share that as well ;)
