yeah chitlangi just has an appealing set of lines! agree with shinook!

I wish I had a gold tooth, because I would pull it,sell it and buy that kukri. very nice.

If I had a gold tooth I'd let you yank it to help out some long as you promised no pain. I got a low pain threshold in my mouth.

Gehazi? Did you really? Good for you, I think it's gonna look real good on you and go well with your entire wardrobe.

It's sort of one of those goes well with anything blades.

Three days and that Chitlangi hasnt been Gehazi'd yet! It would be mine if I didnt already have one.

lol -- yeah im actually involved in a really depraved act of asking auntie to gather some things in stock for me as well as a blem chitlangi or i would have already gotten this ! guys don't miss out ! Tirtha is a great kami and everyone loves the beer mug(plus if you dont buy it I will given another week or two)

I also have a Tirtha Chitlangi. Also a 21 OAL. Incredible work.

If someone's on the fence on this one, they should probably go ahead and step over. That blade is my favorite I've had first hand from HI. Admittedly, my experience otherwise is limited to a Tirtha Sirupati and and Rajkumar Sirupati, but still - I'm highly impressed by Tirtha's work on these.

My God, I am so "on the fence", I really love Tirtha's work, and that isa a beautiful Chitlangi, but I need to replace my CAK. A buddy borrowed it, and he loved it so much, I let him keep it, and now I need to find another one. Limited funds too....so hard a choice, but I think I'll need to wait for a CAK to replace mine...:(

yeah i saved you the problem ! --it is a fine chitlangi, i love tirthas work, his mark is very distinctive, and he seems to turn out pretty beefy blades, he also made the gigantic duichira i bought from the dotd -- pictures don't do it justice, the brass work and the handle are distinct, i really like it !(got in the mail today:thanks karda)

Yes, i'm trying to work on my picture taking skills.
My problem here is it's always either too bright or too dark.
When the light is usually right, i'm either sleeping or busy.

Glad you like it, Gehazi.

pictures never do them justice karda your skills are fine i think in the picture taking realm!

yes, i really can't fawn over it enough, lots of small design things that are really cool , the fuller is well decorated with good inlay and the thatch on the handle and brass was a nice touch :D

I do like the inlays and i really didn't notice the subtleties till later. Wait till ya start slicing things up! Where is the balance point on yours? Behind the bend....WhoooHOOHOO! Wife just told me I got a box in the mail! Aunties magic again! Back to ya! I think its an 11.5" Siru.....Later gotta go!
