Just didn't want you to get your feelings hurt.
The sheath sure could use some edge coat, all though I don't think that would help much.
And the knife, I really don't know what to say about it.
I guess you can say it is truly one of a kind and I don't think you have to worry about any one copying it.
But to each his own......

I like that knife, looks like a very comfortable handle to it and love the blade shape, also the stamp on the side of the blade looks neat as well.
As to the sheath, lines look nice, shape clean, neat texture you put on there as Al Dodge was saying, a little finish work on the edge would be in order, I'd sand it down a little, apply some dye to the edge and burnish, and apply some gum tragacanth to help smooth it up and burnish again, should be fine.
On your next sheath, I'd recommend a smaller size drill or better yet use a thread spacing prong and then drive the holes the rest of the way with a make shift awl. You want your hole size to be close to what your thread diameter is so you don't have openings showing.
What steel did you use for the blade?

The dots theme is kind of cool, and the laminated blade is interesting. The lack of symmetry and flow catches my eye. The dots are randomly spaced, and the wood grain of the dots is all different directions. Kind of like when people don't line up the mosaic pins to the axis of the knife. Not saying that it has to be symmetrical, but that it should look like they are in the places they are "on purpose" not totally "random" even if the pattern is random.

The knife and sheath designs are not unappealing. I like them. Seems that the decoration could have used a couple of rounds of revisions to really work out the finer details of the layout. Gary covered most of the relevant tips. I would just add, the addition of a groove for the stitches to sit in would help protect the stitches from premature wear and failure. Nice job!
