This is my very first double action automatic knife. The knife is made over my “Amok” model and sports a 5.75" hollowground blade of Bertie Reitveld Dragonskin Damascus. The bolsters are made from Bjarne Rasmussen Explotion Damascus and has been heatblued. The Handle scales are made from 300 hundred year old or more Stellar Seacow bone. The frame is made from titanium which has been beadblasted and anodized to a warm bronze color.
The firering button is made from stainless steel with a button made from the same dragonskin damascus as the blade in the middle. Both has been heatcolored. All screws has been heatcolored to match the color scheme. The overall lenght of this knife is 12.75"

Love it, that is a beautiful pattern in the blade.

I just reread your tutorial on putting on handle scales over the weekend and was wondering where you went, ironic.

Wow.....
I too love that Dragonskin , first time ever hearing of it , very eye catching.

The overall scheme of the knife makes it look ancient (and yet sort of futuristic) and costly ! I love it :)

Great looking piece - I've liked the Amok folder previously, but decked out in nice natural materials and damascus it looks even better. Any chance you'll have this for view at the SICAC show in Paris?

thanks guys...!

I might (only just might...) have something similar at the Paris show but it all depends if things fall together just right...
