Amazing. This looks like a royal gift of some sort. The case is the kind of thing you'd expect at a coronation. Will it actually fire too?

I'm 99% sure it will. Cap and ball black powder guns don't have A ton of parts to make it work and everything looks to be there for it to go bang. With the high level of attention to detail with this gentleman's work, I highly doubt that it wouldn't fire.

Very masterful work Csaba. Thanks a bunch for sharing it with us. Please share more stuff whenever you get a chance. I'd love to see "work in progress" (WIP) pictures if you ever do them, or if you have a link to some. The process for creating such a work of art has to be extremely meticulous and I'd love to see some of it. Thanks again!

Oh and I'm not sure if you are a member of ABS or not but you are definitely doing ABS Master quality work. Not that you need it but it gives makers a bunch of exposure. Iirc there's less than 300 ABS Mastersmiths in the world so...

It's superb, the only thing I don't like about it is the screw in the handle. It's glaring and needs to be replaced with a blued screw, or gold screw, or something along those lines. But I'm the first one to admit I could never do that. Lovely work!

Hello CSA,

Your work is gorgeous, not only just making the pistol blade in the first. Your etching and handle work are superb. I'm an extreme novice and just starting out so my compliments, I wouldn't consider holding much weight but damn I love it.
