Ok, I'm sure it's been asked before, but can anyone identify the manufacturer of the "OTIS" double-bit axe used in the movie Frailty?

Know nothing about that movie but a double bit, if it's recent, is likely stamped 'Iltis' which is a German company of which some of the products are featured in the Lee Valley Tools catalogue.

This one?

Looks European with those hollow cheeks.

A double bit faller is really an American tool. You don't see many , if any European made Michigan double bits. I sent a Kelly Perfect DB w/ helve and wedges to a friend of mine in the UK. He was thrilled to get it. He told me that the American DB was very rare over there. He posted his restoration and hanging the axe on a UK Bushcraft forum and got three pages of replies.

And you don't see any vintage American double bits with hollow cheeks like that. Could be hardware store import trash or it could be European. But it's surely not a vintage American axe.
