So I have purchase my first axe head.

Now I need some tutorials on hanging a double bit. Also, what kind of handle I should put on it. Pretty excited to see it...

UPDATE 1:

I got the head out of the vinegar. Got it scrubbed off. To me it looks pretty good, but what do I know. First time doing this, how does it look to the pros?

It is a Plumb and it is marked 3 with a smaller 2... So I'm thinking 3 lbs, 2 oz? Sound good?

Still had some rust, so I threw it back in the bath for a few more days.

If I'm doing anything wrong, please tell me...

You got nice axe for a good price. The bits look almost full. I prefer the look of an old axe with the patina intact that can be had with a cleaning by wire wheel but no denying vinegar cleans an axe good. 32" or 36" handles are standard. Post pics when you get it hafted. The smaller second digit is the number of 1/4 lbs. The number 32 means 3 1/2 lbs.
