Double Blade--Plain/Serrated Knife?

I would like to get a fixed blade knife with a complete plain edge and a complete serrated edge. The only one I have found so far is the SOG Pentagon. I haven't seen one, but, judging from the pictures, I don't like the lack of blade guards. Are there any other fixed blade knives with this combination?

Check out the Scuba/Demo from SOG! I think it will have everything you are looking for. You can see it at the link below. I got one yesterday and even though I bought it for my collection it is a tough knife. The blade is heavy duty, the sheath is top noch and the handle feels great! I would have no doubts about the ability of this knife if I were taking it into the field with me tomorrow!!

Good Luck and welcome to the forums!!

If you are looking for a low-cost knife, you could get the Kershaw Roughneck I or Roughneck II. Soft polymer handles, but no top guard.

The Chris Reeves Aviator has a saw-back, not a serrated edge. You can see their knives at www.chrisreeve.com
