I have seen some double bladed spydercos I believe one was the dyad. Not sure of the other ones names. I really like have 2 blades one fully serrated and one plain do any of you know where I can get one. Thanks

There is a full size Dyad sprint that is scheduled to come out sometime later this year.

The other is a Byrd Wings, very nice folders indeed. I cannot wait to get the newer sprint. I've been looking for one and missed out on the previous runs due to my collecting the C36 models.

I had a smaller Dyad about 20 years ago. I snagged the clip on something and it stripped the screws out (they only threaded into the scale if I remember correctly). Sent it back to Spyderco to see if they could fix it and their reply was that they were involved in a patent dispute and they could not (legally) repair or replace my knife. They offered me any knife in their catalog at no charge. I picked a Bob Lum Tanto and the next thing I knew, I received it in the mail.

I always liked my Dyad but it was a bit thick due to having two blades.

I've been carrying a C44 Dyad for years now. I stopped carrying the Micarta C39 after I lost the third one.

I don't know for sure. I always carried it clipped to the back corner of the watch pocket of my jeans. I know the seatbelt on my car snagged the clip and pulled it out of my pocket a couple of times because I found it still hanging on the belt. I think one got snagged and ejected by the key to the company truck when I pulled it out of that pocket by the fob. The other two are anyone's guess, they just weren't there when I reached for them.

You're preaching to a very convinced choir when speaking of Spyderco's Dyad models  Like Brother Yab just said I've loved the C-44 big Dyad model for years now. I used to use one of my C-44 Dyads for my main EDC and did so for quite some time. Then the C-44 got very hard to find so now I kind of restrict my C-44 Dyad to duty on outdoor activities and special occasions.

But when this new Sprint run of the C-44 comes to fruitiion later this summer or early in the fall I'll be getting at least 3 of them. You truly have the best of both Spyder worlds when using a Dyad. The sheepsfoot, fully serrated blade has just enough convex belly in it to make it an awesome Spyderedged beast. While the plain edged, clippoint blade cuts like a laser. The Dyad has been either ranked #1 or #2 on my all time JD's Top 10 Best Spyders list for years now and I don't look for that to change anytime soon either.

The only improvement that I hope they cover on this new upcoming Sprint Run of the C-44 is that I would like to see a lanyard hole. Other than that I think that the C-44 Dyad is close to being a "perfect" EDC folder. I also wish they would later do a Sprint Run of the Micarta Dyad Junior C-39 model as well.
