Was looking over my blades and noticed some of the Kami marks didn't match the original listings. Maybe y'all can confirm my readings.

M43, listed as Yuvraj, looks like Kumar (star)-

M43, listed as Kumar, looks like Bhakta (bow&arrow)-

Definitely Kumar on the first blade. The Devanagari even translates as "Kumar". and the second is a recent Bhakta.

posting so many blades and doing so much we can allow a few misplaced kami names on a sale :D

Have that star on a KM and a UB (initials) here.

Star & KM I can see being Kumar.
Who is UB? Same star used on that one.
Denis

UB is on every knife for Uncle Bill. You can read up on him a bit on the HI website and you can get a whole lot about him here on the Forums.

Not sure, but I think this after he passed?

I know who Bill was, did not know those initials were used on all blades after he passed. :)

The KM & star are on an AK.
The UB & star are on a Bowie I'm trying to identify. There are no other Arabic initials on that one.
Denis

OK- tracking back through several years of my past posts, the Bowie with UB & the star was bought in 2006 & I was advised then it was made by Kumar.

That explains the star, but I dunno why Kumar's initials were not on it too.
Denis

Probably devanagari, not Arabic but I can't read either one so it probably don't matter much.

Could be Svengali, for all I know. :)
I'm not helping much here, but I tried.
