Friends, I edc an Armorer’s Endura with the Frn handle. Although I am right handed, I always I carry tip down in my left pocket - a habit I picked up after I was given my first Spyderco - a left handed Police Model back in 1991.

Well, I was playing around with my Endura one day and decided to try something - I took the clip and screws off one of my other Enduras and mounted it to the other side. I found that I like the feel and enhanced grip of the handle with both clips, and it doesn’t seem to be any bulkier in my pocket.

I was just wondering if any of you ever tried this?

Nope. I did see another Spyderco that was done the same way.
Cannot remember the thread though. Do you have any pics to share?

Here are some shots.

Guess I'm the only one to do this.

Well, I like the additional width of the handle - and I can clip it in either pocket....

Works for me! :D

Sounds good to me. I find clips to improve grip on some knives, and I could see the benefit of the added thickness of two clips.

If I recall correctly, Michael deBethencourt was a big proponent of paired clips. Not to take anything away from your innovation--just giving credit where credit is due.

Stay safe,

Mike
