double cut blade finish?

Double cut is an uncoated blade finish. It is achieved by particle blasting a semi-polished blade with 2 different mediums. It gives a smooth, even, matte surface to the steel. It's very nice, and is considered to be the best finish for wear-resistance, as it tends to show scratching less than satin.

gotcha, for a minute i thought the upper part of the spine was sharpened too... at least thats how it looked from the blade finish page...

Bead blast as Moonwilson said. Nice look, but I prefer a satin finish......

Like on the LE's! :D

how big around are the grips compared to the magnum grips?

and whats G-10 ?

Couldn't give you an exact answer about the grips since I haven't held and ASH-1's with magnums.

G-10 is a fiberglass/resin material used for handles, along with different forms of micarta. I prefer micarta. Has a "warmer' feel to it for me.
