The title says it all. I like iot a lot on my GW and would like to know is it natural finish - I mean is the blade treated in some way to look like that or is it some kind of coating put on the blade - like cricnle coating?
Help...:D

from what i understand...
bare blade, no coating... hit with bead blasting two times

It is a special treatment involving Carling Black Label and Pig's Nose. Some of these guys will tell you stories about using two different media and a blasting cabinet, but it is all a trick!

bead blasting with a touch of whiskey :D  - I thought so - but wanted to be sure.
Thanks guys:thumbup:

I thought Jerry sprinkled the blades with special INFI dust mixed with Blue Label.

See how the truth changes when people spread rumors?

How about, It's finished to a Satin quality finish and then bead blasted for a Double Cut effect...

Looks like Garth got me with that one, he told me the latter, I think it was something like sand and then bead blasting. He was pretty clear about it being a treatment of the blade and not a coating.
