Double cut finish

Just looking for some ideas here if anyone can help.
I have a couple of knives with double cut finishes that have rub marks from sheaths on them. Has anyone ever restored one?
Is there anything there that a good beadblasting setup couldn't replicate?
I would like to avoid sending them back to Busse because of shipping charges (from Australia).
Thanks in advance for any help.

I've never retsored one, but i have been pleasantly surprised at how well d/c blades hold up to a good scrubbing. are the marks into the finish, or just on top of the finish? If it's the latter, they may just clean up. sorry to state the obvious, but it's definitely surprised me more than once how well they clean up...

good luck bro!

yes, bead blasting will restore it, use glass beads. take it easy on the logo and don't worry about the micarta.
