I want to get a ASTH1 and this knife will be highly used during backpacking and was wondering what would the best finish to prevent rusting -- Double Cut or Crinkle Finish?

I have a black crinkle finish. I flog the hell out of it too. No rust. Check it out...

Crinkle no doubt!

Double cut is the least rustresistant of all the Busse coatings because of the beadblastprocess. Beadblasting causes microdimples in the steel where moisture can be trapped/buildup. So be sure to protect your beadblasted blades with some kind of lubrication or sealing. But you'll notice that INFI-steel is very tough also on rust:D:D

Def the crinkle finish. INFI is pretty corrosion resistant, but the coated steel doesn't rust at all, so crinkle wins.
