Just received 3 more 110's for the collection (well 2 + a standard for EDC).
Anyway the standard model is new in box and the taper grind? (top bit, last inch and a half or so) is almost as sharp as the blade itself, sharp enough to cut rope:eek: .
Anybody else had one like this?

Luckily customs didn't check this package as it would count as a double edged blade which is illegal over here without a permit. (If anyone from Oz customs is reading this I do have a permit :D )

The top grind on my new 112 is pretty crisp. A little touch up on a stone would make it sharp. Not that I want that for pocket carry!

I picked up 110 -| a little while ago. It was sharp enough to make me uncomfortable when pulling it out of a snug fitting sheath. I stoned it a little to take some of the edge off.

THE FALSE EDGE ON MY NEW 110 IS NOT SO FALSE, BUT I DON'T THINK I COULD CUT ROPE WITH IT.

I was curious to know if this was a pretty common thing. I don't mind the double edge thing just gotta be careful pulling it out of the sheath as mikesea mentioned.
