Double edge

I have been sharpening knives for years. Every so often I come across a challenge. My Tom Brown Tracker by Tops for example. I would pick it up and try again every few months. So far my last challenge is double edged knives. I have a Kershaw Trooper and a SOG Dessert Dagger, while both are sharp, they are not quite as sharp as I would like. To be honest I am tired of jacking with them. Does anyone know any sharpening gurus on the east coast? Preferably near Virginia.
