Double edged blade Vs. Single edged blade?

I find myself trying to throw about everything no-spin. I also see that some items seem to have a very long flight path before stabilization seems to be lost while other knives start to wobble or drift at about 16 feet or so. Some of you guys that have been doing this for lots 'o years, are there any real flight advantages to knives with symmetrical blades or longer blades vs. single edged blades or shorter ones? I know they all seem about the same up close but at 20+ feet, do you guys see the differences that I think I see or am I imagining it? For instance, given two knives of equal length and weight, both with the same balance point along the spine, and assuming a 25' throw that was guaranteed to be exactly point on, would a bowie pattern fly with less stability than a double edged blade?

You don't say if all your knives are bare metal or if some have a handle material in them.

In reality I throw about 10 types. Only one type has no handles at all. Most are para cord wrapped. If they had g 10 or something I have usually removed it. But my question would just be regarding those either with or without grips. I would suppose that the minimal amount of aerodynamic drag might be a stabilizing influence on most things along with the increase in weight.
