Thanks for looking!

Golly that sure is a very nice piece Phillip.  TWO THUMBS WAY UP!

I hate to repeat myself, but every piece you make just looks better and better!

Holly smokes, that is a show case knife for how and what you can make!

The blade, the guard and something special you do in the way of creating a handle with micarta looks so good.

Cheers for showing that one :)

PS: if the two you are making for me look that good, I'll be very happy!

Nasty, man....that thing is wicked looking:thumbup: Always loved that type of grind and I'm normally a flat/convex grind guy. ;) You MUST do one of those with a dark exotic wood handle.....i'm thinking african blackwood or ebony or some wildly figured snakewood or ironwood burl......and polished nickel silver or stainless fittings :D

Actually, I AM making one like that, except using black paper micarta instead of wood, for it's durability.
But soon I'd like to make one using a nice piece of ironwood I have. I wonder if people would hate me for using Damascus for one of these?

Thank you everyone for the nice comments! Have a good weekend.

Looks almost like Loveless's fighter in How to Make Knives, meaning I abso-freakin'-lutely love it!

Phillip,
Damascus is the only thing that would make it prettier(other than an exotic handle). I think Ironwood or Blackwood would be nice. I like the brass but I also like the nickel silver you have previously used. Depends on the whole construction.
Very good taste for such a young man! :-)
Imagine that in raindrop Damascus! Boy Howdy!

Well then, keep your eyes peeled for a "dress" version with Damascus and Ironwood. :D
