Merry christmas y'all
One of our customers, paul thomson, had us add a few features to our jackyl model.
This is the prototype. We kinda like it ,so were gonna make some more.
it's an inch and a half longer blade, and an inch longer handle than our jackyl.
it also has a thumb ramp, and a double edge.
It also needs a name, and any comments welcomed.

5 1/4'' blade of 3/16 s30v
5 1/2'' handle of green canvas micarta
kydex sheath with tec lock

WOW!!! gotta get my hands on this to play with :)

The pic is just terrific, Jon... Is that an SF L5 in the pic also?

What's the weight? What???? you don't have a scale!
Send it to me and I'll weigh it and also figure out the balance point on it.
It's the least I can do.
I like the longer handle. I'll bet the lanyard hole is tooooo small.....
Love the mosaic pins.....choil will prevent slipping forward.
More blades should have grooves on the thumb post....(is that a new term I made up?)
Looks perfect for 45 degree, handle forward, on strong side for reverse grip deploy.
I wonder how the contours in the handle will mate up to my hand?
AND how much of the handle is available in the kydex sheath.
Look at that strong center thrust line.....Ye Gads!!!
Nice one, guys!

I like the name JayGee.
Sorta embodies the J and J Graham personas in the knife. Double edge...Strong stock....the micarta is Grippy, tho Jon would say thast Josh needs to get a grip,
signifying the adhesion to the knifemaking skills and prnciples. And just the right amount of bling with the pins..
OH YEAH, the pointy pommel has nothing to do with Jon's need to wear a hat
hee...hee...hee
(this is what happens after I down 2 darvocet)
I hate tactical sounding names for, not so obvious, liability reasons :)

PS Jon's Avatar Razel is mine...Love that pic and LOVE the Razel:)
